Further to the S/he post yesterday, I received an email (source will remain anon. unless he states otherwise…) with the following statement:
“I can chat happily to guys about music, work, TV, holidays, etc., but I can’t do the tribal male ‘rugby & beer’ thing; I love alcohol – sometimes romanticise it a little too much – but for me it’s the drink of artists, poets & doomed souls, not some sweaty guy who calls you ‘mate’ and wants to tell you about some really fit bird that he shagged.”
Yeah that’s exactly what I meant, well said!
