Beautiful Day

Inspired by my walk to the shop this morning, just wish I’d taken my camera (some pics later maybe).

Golden leaves cling desperately to branches, the gentle breeze tugging and pulling at them. They watch their brethren plucked into the air, flipping, tumbling, spinning, gliding to the ground.
Wispy clouds dance across the sky and everywhere the subtle noise of the wind glances across the soundscape, stirring the fallen leaves into animation. Swirling and dancing they go, across the field, enjoying their last movements of freedom.
The sun climbs lazily, casting shadows long and far, burning the trees crimson and gold, surveying everything below it.
These are the days of autumn.
