A few weeks back I ran into my downstairs neighbour who I’ve not seen since last summer when we could be found most evenings drinking beer and chatting. There’s not been one single day when I’ve sayt out this year. I’m almost at the stage of wanting to get back to opaque tights and knee-high boots – at least I know what to put on in the winter…

You’ve had a better summer than normal up there according to the weathermen (something to do with the Gulf Stream being further north than normal, hence the low pressure down south), so think yourself lucky

Can’t see where the problem is, it’s sunny and dry down here in the Royal county. For a change. Serves you right for being so smug recently.
