Freezing Fog

It’s all gone now, but the previous three days saw us drive to and from work in freezing fog. During that time, the country road that we take got whiter and whiter. So, on Friday afternoon as I was home earlier than I expected, I nipped back out with my camera.
I should point out that these photos were taken at 1pm, with visibility at about 100 metres.
Unfortunately it’s been warmer and wetter today, and all traces of white are gone. Which is rubbish and decidely less Christmas-ey. Humbug to the weather!
So beautiful. I’m off to show my husband as he gets anxious when someone takes better photos than him…hehehehe!
