Or get a wireless keyboard. Plug that into the PC.

Then just synergy onto the laptop.

Hmmm we do use Synergy at work for Win/Nix combos but hadn’t considered it for home.

So I’d have the PC hooked up through VGA, the MacBook through DVI (when it’s plugged in). Keyboard is wired, as is mouse (well it’s wireless but not bluetooth, there is a receiver which is USB).

So to switch between MacBook and PC I’d need to swap two USB connections (keyboard and mouse), and then select a different input on the monitor.

Plug everything into KVM, click a button.

Not really much of a competition (take money out of the equation).

Bet you cant tell the difference between VGA and DVI input. (If set up well)

Also using Synergy you get to use the nice keyboard with both. And the mouse.

And with the money you save, you can buy me a present.

OK iTunes library is fine.

But, VGA input? UGH!!

And this way I also get the benefit of using a nice keyboard when working on the Mac, and a MOUSE.. ohh joys..
