Most telly is crap. Period.
However, tonight on BBC4 (just about the only decent channel left) at 9pm is an excellent documentary with the also-excellent Jim al-Khalili on the subject of science in the Arab world in the Middle Ages. Trust me, it'll be fascinating.

Yes, a bit harsh.
But then, so will I be on this strange new creature who thinks he can fill David Tennant's cloak.

I agree with the boredom - last night I channel-hopped so much that I fear I am turning into a man. I do watch the cookery things though - like Come Dine With Me - fascinating human behaviour - hilarious. Chanced upon an old film last night about a fictional band - didnt actually get bored of that - probably cos half the cast of Auf Weidersehn Pet was in it - why is that never repeated????

Pish on you and your dislike of doctor who... one of the best bits of tv at the moment. And the whole "12 incarnations" thing doesn't hold water anyway, technically the master had used up all his regenerations in the classic series, and yet he still managed it in the new one so you're not going to get away from it that easily.
